The ETC held a games night session at Cowplain on Tuesday 27th March. 65 children were in attendance and spent the evening playing 11 different small sided games. It was fantastic to see so many players come across from Southampton to play against their Portsmouth counterparts.
Over the past few weeks, the ETC has played a string of Academy games, at various ages, against Portsmouth Football Club and Southampton Football Club. These games have played host to over 50 ETC players and have been a fantastic learning experience for them, with Academy interest subsequently shown in many. With further games scheduled for the coming months, we look forward to seeing our emerging crop of young players flourish.
Our HP Under 7’s visited Staplewood last weekend. This unique experience came off the past of numerous past visits and provided a fantastic opportunity for our players to experience Academy football at one of the best grounds in the Country. Some top football was on show with plenty of goals. Well done to all involved!
The ETC’s games programme has continued to go from strength to strength as our contacts within key clubs grow. Recently, we have faced the likes of Chelsea, Southampton, Reading, Portsmouth and Sutton United; all to great success.
